High Flyers - Subscription Service

The Reading Bug’s

HIGH FLYERS

Book Services for Schools and Educators

A hand-curated book ordering service from your favorite independent bookstore and education partner.

The Reading Bug and our award-winning team of children’s literature experts are proud to partner with local and national schools to select and provide the highest quality new books, based on each school’s unique needs, for classroom and library use.

HIGH FLYERS participants will receive the best selections of new releases and backlist, hand-picked by The Reading Bug staff based on your school's unique needs and preferences. In addition, the HIGH FLYERS program qualifies participants for purchases at a significant discount over publisher or retail prices. We're eager to work together! Send us an email at contactthereadingbug.com to sign up or learn more.

HERE IS HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

  • Schools or educators commit budget and payment terms up front. HIGH FLYERS subscriptions are available starting at $250 per school year and can increase to meet any budget in increments of $250.
  • Schools receive discounts on purchases of 15%, 20%, or 25% for any titles purchased through the HIGH FLYERS program.
    • Program discounts are as follows:
      Annual committed spend Discount
      $5000+ 25%
      $1000-$5000 20%
      $250-$1000 15%

PROGRAM BENEFITS:

  • Appointments available (virtual or in person) to meet with a staff member to choose selections, or discuss needs and preferences.
  • Virtual or in-person book talks for special titles throughout the year may be provided for school staff - or, in some cases, for students - at no charge.
  • Local schools enrolled in the HIGH FLYERS program receive priority scheduling for The Reading Bug's author visit program.

This partnership is open to all educators, librarians, and administrators. We are happy to meet with any Educator to help make the best choices for your classroom and library use. Any funds left in your account at the end of the year will roll over.
