Are you a new parent to a newborn?  Make your first outing with baby to The Reading Bug!  We are opening the bookstore early just for you for a welcoming and calm environment with other new parents! Storytime will be presented by Reading Bug Owner, Lauren Savage

Lauren opened The Reading Bug 14 years ago when her first child was born.   Her very first storytimes were presented at The Reading Bug for new parents and quickly expanded to all ages every single day in the bookstore.  3 children later and 14 years of storytime, we are starting this tradition all over as so many new babies join our community again!

IMPORTANT NOTES: This storytime is for parents and newborns (age 2 weeks up to one year old) ONLY.  No older siblings please (families and newborns with older siblings are welcome at all of our other outdoor storytimes on Wed/Fri/Sat).  Bring a blanket, changing pad and anything you need for you and baby to be comfortable.  No food or drink permitted inside (baby bottles/breast milk/breast feeding are all just fine!). Strollers must be parked outside the event space. This is a FREE event that we plan to offer bi-monthly.  Please consider purchasing a book or two to help support our free programming.
