Author and Google Techie, Komal Singh Presents: Ara the Star Engineer!
Google techie Komal Singh was taken aback by her four-year-old daughter’s assumption that all engineers are men. So she joined forces with colleagues and wrote Ara the Star Engineer.
Recommended for ages 4-8 years, Ara will inspire kids of all backgrounds to explore STEM subjects by distilling complex ideas into an algorithm for success: coding, courage, creativity, and collaboration. The book also features real-life women engineering leaders of Google from diverse backgrounds.
Come join Komal as she reads from the book and shares video clips about the book’s female engineer superheroes, then participate in an exciting hands-on experience with a Google VR Expedition.
