Molly Warner writes an essay for her class which criticizes a bill before the Missouri House which is sponsored by her mother, a state representative. Molly's paper is leaked to the Missouri House and Molly testifies before a House committee, defending her claims and trying to defeat her mother's bill, which could close the high school she attends.
About the Author
L.J. Launer is a former print and broadcast journalist who has also written and researched history in Missouri and in the Pacific Northwest. He has also covered minor league professional and high school sports for various news organizations in the Midwest and Great Lakes. He holds a BA in Mass Communications from Lindenwood University with an emphasis in English. He was also a radio producer in college, producing several radio programs, ranging from news and public affairs to entertainment (country/bluegrass music). Mr. Launer is a resident of St. Charles County, Missouri. This is L.J.'s second novel. His previous novel was Rurals and Townies.
