About the Author


Dr. Robert F. Gordon is Associate Professor and Program Director in the Mathematics and Computer Studies Department at Molloy College. He earned his BS in mathematics and physics from the City College of New York and his MS and PhD in mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Gordon has published articles in computer science and applied mathematics in academic journals, technical proceedings, and textbooks. He has presented invited papers in these fields at professional conferences in the United States, Canada, and Europe. His goal is to bring enrichment in mathematics to elementary students through storytelling.
