Local Author, Bob Barner, will visit The Bug to read from and discuss several of his terrific childrens' books, which include Bugs!, Dem Bones, Dinosaur Bones, Dinosaurs Roar Butterflies Soar, and many more. Bob will also give us a sneak peak of his newest book, Bears! Bears! Bears!, which doesn't come out until next spring! 

This can't-miss event will also include music - the Dem Bones song - crafts, a discussion of the collage technique Bob uses for his books, Q&A, and book signing!

Bob Barner has been drawing since he was three years old. After graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio, he moved to Boston and worked as an art director at several advertising agencies and design studios. His work has been chosen several times for inclusion in the Society of Illustrators Original Art Exhibition. When he is not writing, drawing or playing one of his guitars, Bob enjoys speaking to young readers at schools and libraries around the world. He lives with his wife Catherine in San Francisco.
