Come see the award-winning author/illustrator of such favorites as Dem Bones, Fish Wish, and Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! and, hot off the press, his newest book, Bears! Bears! Bears!

Bob will tell us about the creative process he uses making his unique collages.  He will share his secrets with us as he leads children and adults in a hands-on workshop to create our own collages.  All materials will be provided.

Chuck Ashton, librarian and musician, will MC and perform with Bob.

Bob Barner has been drawing since he was three years old. After graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio, he moved to Boston and worked as an art director at several advertising agencies and design studios. His work has been chosen several times for inclusion in the Society of Illustrators Original Art Exhibition. When he is not writing, drawing or playing one of his guitars, Bob enjoys speaking to young readers at schools and libraries around the world. He lives with his wife Catherine in San Francisco.
