Ancient Greek soldiers were also known as Hoplites. They carried a large
shield often made of wood and were painted by the individual soldiers
to their own design. Ours won't be quite as sturdy - but your creativity will make them just as elaborite!
Moms and daughters will choose, read and discuss a different book each month. We'll have thought provoking and fun questions to help guide our monthly conversations along with an occasional activity. Come join the fun and share your love of reading with a girl in your life! Future meetings will be held the third Friday of every month.

We'll be reading and discussing great fiction for young people, like C.D. Payne's Youth in Revolt and Chuck Palahniuk's Choke. After meetings, we can relocate to one of the many bars and restaurants nearby! Come for the book discussion, the finger food, or just the good company. Future meetings will be held the last Thursday of every month.
